Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eckhard Kraft has been the head of the professorship for biotechnology in resource management since 2011. He completed his graduation in civil engineering during 1993 from Technical University of Dresden with specialization in water management. Notable participation in committees is Land ll Gas Working Group of the State Institute for Environmental Protection of the State of Baden-Württemberg Member of the EdDE working committee “Biological waste treatment”, Member of the DIN standard committee for plastics, working committee “Biodegradable plastics”, Member of the DIN CERTCO certification committee “Biodegradable materials”, Member of the DWA working group 14.1 “Fermentation”
The deputy Head of the Chair of biotechnology in resource management. He is also the head of test facilities and laboratories of b.is. His expertise is in the feld of material flow in waste water, prototyping in the feld of anaerobic plants, nutrient cycle management, balancing and process optimization etc.

She Completed her Masters in “Environmental Engineering”, Specialization Waste Management and Sanitation from BUW.

Her expertise is in Sustainable material flow management and integrated resource management for water and sanitation, Faecal sludge management and resource-oriented sanitation systems, Blue-green infrastructure, River basin management. Her notable projects are SCIP Plastics, Konnekt and BEGIN.
