Dr.-Ing. Martin Zimmermann Head of research unit Water Infrastructure and Risk Analyses
Martin Zimmermann is a research scientist at ISOE and has been head of the research unit Water Infrastructure and Risk Analyses since July 2018. He obtained his PhD in the DFG postgraduate school Topology of Technology and the Institute IWAR at TU Darmstadt with a thesis on sustainable transformations of central northern Namibia’s water supply system. After this, he has been working as a postdoc at the chair of Human-Environment Relations, Department of Geography, University of Munich.

Lukas Sattlegger works as a research scientist at ISOE in the research unit Energy and Climate Protection in Everyday Life. He is PhD student in the junior research group PlastX investigating questions of food packaging and sustainable consumption.

Water Infrastructure and Risk Analyses
Since September 2012 Heide Kerber works as a research scientist at ISOE in the research unit Water Infrastructure and Risk Analyses. She studied Geography, Political Science and Public law at Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg. In her master thesis, she analyzed the Basin Management Approach in Namibia and Germany.
