Abir Ul Jabbar is working as Chief Planning Officer of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) and Focal Point of SCIP Plastics Project in Department of Civil Engineering, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). His role in KCC includes project preparation, project approval, preparation of master plan, city beautification, environmental improvement, urban planning, building plan approval.
Expert Coordinator

Md. Abdul Aziz is the Expert Coordinator of SCIP Plastics Project in the Department of Civil Engineering, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), and the Superintending Engineer (Mechanical) of Khulna City Corporation. His role in the project is to coordinate with the different Working Groups by providing data in the KCC area, data collection, research activities, guidelines, Program Execution, etc. His participation in the project will foster the successful execution and timely achievement of its milestones.

Md.Mahmudul Hasan is working as Coordinator of Knowledge Transfer Hub of SCIP Plastics Project in the Department of Civil Engineering of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). He received his B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from KUET in 2014. The main focus of his career is water treatment plants, water supply, sanitation, waste management, building construction, roads and railways, etc. He has considerable experience in WASH projects and environmental projects.

Sheikh Enjamamul Haque working as the Head of the Awareness Centre for the SCIP Plastics Project, in collaboration with KCC, since August 2022. He holds both MSc and BSc in Environmental Science from Khulna University. In 2018, he was awarded the “KCC FSM Scholarship” for his master’s thesis, which was funded by the SNV Netherlands Development Organization. He was the Team Leader of 2nd Runners-up team on Faecal Sludge Management Awareness Campaign Material Development Competition held in 2016. Which was organized by Khulna University in Association with SNV Netherlands Development Organization. His areas of expertise include air quality monitoring and assessment, physico-chemical and microbial analysis of water and wastewater, wastewater treatment and recycling, as well as feasibility studies and environmental impact assessment.

Md. Abdur Rahman is working as Deputy Registrar of the Vice-Chancellor's Office of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) and the Secretary of Awareness Centre of KCC of SCIP Plastics Project, Department of Civil Engineering, KUET. He has served as a Public Relations Officer and Assistant Registrar at KUET with reputation. Mr. Abdur Rahman holds a Master’s degree in Social Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.). From 2003 to 2005, he worked as the Head Teacher of a Government Primary School, gaining valuable leadership experience. His involvement in this project will inspire everyone and ensure the successful implementation of Project activities.
Environmental Education Assistant (Awareness Centre)

Fahima Akter is working as the Environmental Education Assistant at the Awareness Center (In collaboration with KCC) of SCIP Plastics Project. She completed her BSS ( Bachelor of Social Science) in Development Studies from Khulna University, Bangladesh. Her field of interest is sustainable development, climate change, community development, and communication for development. She has completed her undergraduate thesis on “Beneficiaries Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices on the Effectiveness of Social Safety Net Programs”.

Anik Sarker , a young architect and graphic design professional, completed his B Arch. from KUET in 2024 and joined the SCIP Plastics project as Communication Designer in the Awareness Center chapter at KCC.
GIS Specialist

Swadhin Das is currently working as a GIS Specialist for the SCIP Plastics Project. He has completed his graduation in Urban and Regional Planning (URP) from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in 2022. His research interest in the field of GIS and Remote Sensing (RS) applications in environment and water. He has one publication under review in a journal and two publications in international conferences.
